Reedy is a Senior Agile Coach and Software Architect with over 20 years experience leading successful IT projects, employing a combination of Agile, Waterfall, and RUP processes. Reedy has certifications in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) SPC, Certified ScrumMaster and PMP® certified project manager.
Currently employed at IBM Corporation, he has led several successful agile transformations at the enterprise, program and project level. As a Solution Architect, he has helped several large organizations adopt Agile Planning, Continuous Delivery, DevOps and Agile Testing best practices.
Reedy has extensive software development and technical architecture experience in banking, high-tech and enterprise organizations, in addition to network and systems administration expertise. He holds SAFe SPC, CSM, PMP and DevOps certifications. He is also a subject matter expert in IBM UrbanCode Deploy, IBM Rational Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM), Rational Team Concert and Rational Quality Manager
Prior to joining IBM, Reedy was a Software Project Manager and Network System Engineer at AT&T Labs, and a Systems Engineer at General Motors responsible for implementing robotic and control systesm based Lean principles including just-in-time manufactoring and Kanban.
His agile journey began in 1997 with a small business within the AT&T, called AT&T PersonalLink, and since then never stopped as an agile coached teams in agile methods, including RAD, XP, Scrum, and RUP Lean / Kanban
He holds a M.S. in Information and Computing Science from the Colorado Technical University and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from State University of New York at Buffalo.
