Phillip Manketo, is an passionate agile practitioner with a proven track record leveraging agile practices to consistently deliver results on behalf of blue-chip clients, start-ups and Federal entities.

Mr. Manketo, presently the Mid-Atlantic Delivery Lead and a Senior Agile Consultant with the Eliassen Group, supports a full-lifecycle agile consultancy practice the cornerstones of which include Advisory Services, Training, and Coaching. As part of his responsibilities, Mr. Manketo has also been supporting an Enterprise Agile Implementation for a Top 10 Bankone as an Enterprise Agile Coach.

Prior to joining Eliassen Group, Mr. Manketo was an Agile Coach with Agilex, during which time he Coached three nationally distributed technical teams within the United States Postal Service in the implementation of Agile and Scrum development methodologies as part of an effort to deliver a major client-facing greenfield product initiative, having both strategic and revenue implications.  Additionally, he served as the Deputy Program Manager on a greenfield project to drive the adoption of the Scrum Methodology across the technical enterprise of the United States Postal Service.

Prior to joining Agilex, Mr. Manketo was a Scrum Master with, a Comcast subsidiary, facilitating an agile development effort responsible for developing industry leading video search, recommendations and discovery applications.  

Prior to joining, Phillip had a distinguished 8 year career at America Online.  Mr. Manketo held several roles in operations management, primarily serving the Executive Team responsible for the development  and support of  AOL’s core member facing products.  Phillip’s leadership was strategic to the integration of the operations’ functions of Moviefone, Inc. by AOL, following its acquisition in 1999. 

Prior to joining Moviefone, Inc., Mr. Manketo was an Assistant Vice President with Salomon Smith Barney.  There he was responsible for working in both technical management ,as well as program management capacities, shepherding a national financial systems implementation.

Mr. Manketo received his MBA from the University of Miami.   He also holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Clark University.
